Building This Site in Public

A note on keeping the site lightweight, legible, and easy to update.

This site is meant to be a working surface, not just a finished artifact. I wanted a place where projects, research, and short writing could sit next to each other without requiring a heavy publishing workflow.

Quarto is a good fit for that constraint. It is simple enough for static pages, but still structured enough that longer notes can grow into something more polished later if they need to.

The writing section is intentionally small right now. The goal is to make publishing easy enough that posting a short note feels normal, instead of waiting until every idea looks like a complete essay.
